Char dham yatra is a pilgrimage to four of the most sacred and revered sites of Uttarakhand - Badrinath, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Yamunotri. Experience this trip and rejuvenate your soul as you pass by the dense forests, majestic mountains, lush green pastures and much more. 

  • Day 1 

Haridwar - Barkot (180 km / 6-7 hours)

The drive starts in the morning and reaches Barkot by midday. Barkot is one of the most spectacular destinations located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand.From Barkot, one can easily view the sumptuous peak of Bandarpoonch and it is a flawless holidaying and adventure port of call for nature lovers and adventurers.

  • Day 2

Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (36 km drive and 6 km trek [one side])

After checking out from the hotel in the morning, it is an approx 36 km to Jankichatti and from there a 6 km trek starts for Yamunotri. One can either complete this trek on foot or can hire a pony. 

  • Day 3

Barkot - Uttarkashi (155 km / 6-7 hours)

An early morning check out from the hotel and a 6 hour drive to the scenic city of Uttarkashi. Vishwanath temple is the main attraction of the city. An overnight stay in the city.

  • Day 4

Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 km / 3 hours [one side])

After checking out from the hotel, the trip to Gangotri begins. On the route comes the picturesque Harsil Valley, Bhagirathi river and the ever beautiful Himalayas. Darshan and Pooja at the iconic Gangotri temple and then drive back to the hotel. Overnight haul.

  • Day 5

Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (220 km / 9 hours)

The next day, after checking out, it is a nine hour drive to the beautiful town of Guptkashi. Ardhanarishvara temple is fairly popular amongst the tourists. Night stay.

  • Day 6

Guptkashi - Kedarnath (22 km)

The drive to Kedarnath begins on the next day. First stop is Sonprayag, then Gaurikund. It is a 16 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. You can either trek on foot or hire a pony. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 7

Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Guptkashi (22 km)

The same trail can be followed back to Guptkashi. Sonprayag, that is enroute, is a beautiful town situated on the banks of river Mandakini. Night stay at Guptkashi.

  • Day 8

Guptkashi - Chopta - Badrinath (250 km / 8-9 hours)

It is a 9 hour drive to Badrinath and on the way is the beautiful Chopta which is also referred to as the Mini Switzerland. If time allows, you can visit the shrine of Badrinath in the evening.

  • Day 9

Badrinath - Pipalkoti (79 km / 2 hours)

A dip in the Taptkund in the morning and then visit the temple of Badrivishal. Vyas gufa, Bhimkund, Maatamoorti are other sites to visit in the city. After darshan and sightseeing, it is a  short drive to Pipalkoti. Overnight stay.

  • Day 10

Pipalkoti - Haridwar (238.5 km / 7.5 hours)

After checking out from the hotel at Pipalkoti, the final part of the trip is back to Haridwar.
